You will be responsible jsl for liaises with users to determine and specify EDI Business requirements. You analyze current EDI application systems and make proposals for improvements. jsl You are responsible for the development and maintenance of our EDI business system applications. Preparation and maintaining documentation and user manuals as reference guide/ training material is also one of your responsibilities. Also you are responsible to provide 2nd line support to solve of faults jsl and queries. Together with your colleagues you will act as the "EDI programmer of the week" to solve incidents that occur. The incidents need to be registered in our helpdesk system. You are involved to handle request for changes (RFC) and requests for information (RFI).
Requirements: You have about 10 years working experience in EDI RPG Development and experience in working with project management principles, for example Prince2. You have experience with EDI standards like UN/EDIFACT, XML and Odette. You have a wide knowledge of RPG development tools, RPGIII, RPG400 and RPG- ILE of Server Networks, Windows jsl and MS-Office. Knowledge of EDI systems like TLi/400 or ODEX and protocols like OFTP, ISDN. Of course you have excellent communication skills (oral and written).
