Looking at some of Scrum implementations known to me, I have a feeling that it is a bit like an ice

Why Scrum does not work? - Third coffee

Looking at some of Scrum implementations known to me, I have a feeling that it is a bit like an iceberg. Sam Scrum is a set of rules that combine the roles, artifacts and events. And these events, artifacts and roles are precisely those things that can be seen above the water. These are easily archive identifiable elements - very easy to determine whether we have Scrum Master, how long is the sprint and how many items we have in backlog. The problem is that it is a framework for the people - and the people although sometimes guided by the rules, it is much, much more likely to pursue their own beliefs, values or habits.
Scrum actually fairly well defined set of values. At the outset, archive we have listed Scrum GUIDE three pillars of the process: transparency, inspection and adaptation. There is also a very much emphasized self-organization and interdisciplinary development team (self-organizing and cross-functional teams). Title and book cover promises a healthy dose of knowledge from different agile methodologies, supported by practice. Does the author kept that promise? We tried to find out, sometimes with difficulty wading through reading.
The most important drawback of the book is its organization and uneven level - where Scrum is described e filing honestly and in fact can be chapters devoted to it a lot to learn, it's the initial e filing chapters and the "shortcut" on the other Agile methodologies leave much to be desired, giving the impression of hasty and unfinished.
Let's start from the beginning. "Chapter 2: Waterfall". This raises the question why the author mentions only this one method of preparation, aside from incremental and iterative methods? Persons reading this book and do not have more knowledge in the field of software engineering may have the impression that software production is a choice between Waterfall and Agile, the Agile is presented as the only right option.
